It’s All About Crochet is a program dedicated to introducing and instructing a wide range of individuals, from teenagers to seniors, in the art of crochet and knitting. These workshops take place in local community centers and multiple New York Public Library locations, and provide an inclusive space for people of all walks of life to come together for a good cause.
Sandra Saez Ramirez is an avid fiber artist, with instructor certification by the Craft Yarn Council, that is deeply passionate about crochet and knitting. Her journey with these skills has led her to a deep love for teaching as well. She has taught locally for several years and has broadened her scope to include lessons in neighborhoods outside of Parkchester, where she is currently based.
