Join us for The Spring Awakening Festival on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Williamsbridge Oval. This dynamic event will activate The Bronx with live performances by local DJs and musicians, showcasing the best of Bronx talent. Curated by Kiara Cristina Ventura of PROCESSA, attendees will enjoy a day filled with high-energy music, from hip-hop to salsa, as well as live performances from rising Bronx artists who embody the rhythm and soul of our community.
The Spring Awakening Festival is part of the 2025 BX Expressions Performance Series. This programming is made possible, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, New York City Council's Coalition of Theaters of Color (CTC) initiative, and through Council Member Dinowitz's support through the Cultural Immigrant Initiative (CII).

Bronx Creatives Connect
On May 19, 2023, the Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) teamed up with Uptown Melody to present Bronx Creatives Connect, an event that brought Bronx artists together at the Bronx Brewery to enjoy a variety of performances by talented artists such as Ni-Emah Bugg, Roya Marsh, and Heartbreak Crew. Attendees had the opportunity to network and engage with their local community while enjoying an exciting evening of entertainment.
