I'RAISE Theater Arts programs also known as Performing Arts Academy is an academy open to youth in NYC, ages 5-21 years of age with a interest in theater or performing arts. Students for this academy are recruited via community and public engagement, broad marketing, and partnerships with community centers. The majority of youth in the Academy reside in the local community or district where classes are held. The Performing Arts Academy offers intensive instruction all year around in dance, music, drama and recently added spoken word. The Academy is free of charge to young people and families.
