The "Seniors AT WORK" project consists of painting sessions in which participants experiment with different techniques and materials in order to express themselves emotionally in a pictorial and non-verbal way. The different techniques and materials used range from oil pastels, acrylic paint with brush, charcoal and pencils, collage. Using different surfaces to paint such as canvas, paper or cardboard.
Participants work in different ways each session, from painting from observation (still life), painting from imagination, using photo references, "pouring" technique, abstract and figurative painting. Artists are invited to give a class on abstract painting and how materials can be used in different waysn.
