At Introduction to Printmaking at PSS Andrew Jackson Senior Center, particpants learn black-and-white and color relief printing using foam and brayers and print small editions of their work. They learn how to make monotypes and monoprints utilizing various tools; while painting, stamping, and stenciling. Everyday objects and fruits, vegetables, flowers, and leaves are used to create multiple pieces of work including tote bags and greeting cards. In the last class, particpants learn how to present the artwork by framing it.
