The Academy for Teachers is proud to partner with Foundation House for a transformative artist residency this summer, tailored for New York City teacher-artists. This 10-day residency offers eight local educators the opportunity to immerse themselves in their creative practices in a nurturing, serene setting. Residents will be provided with housing, studio space, three meals a day, and a $500 honorarium. Foundation House, a nonprofit dedicated to wellness, the environment, and social justice, encourages applications from teachers in any artistic field. This residency fosters important conversations on these vital topics, offering a unique space for teacher-artists to collaborate and grow.
