AHL Foundation is pleased to announce our SPACE UPTOWN 2024 Open Call.
Supported by Manna’s Exhibition Grant, Space Uptown has showcased artists from New York
City and Korean artists since 2022 for cross-cultural exchanges. Artists based in New York City
are welcome to submit their work for consideration in our group exhibition. Selected artists will
receive an award of $300 and will have the opportunity to showcase their works at AHL
Foundation’s gallery, located at 2605 Frederick Douglass Blvd, from March 28, 2024, to April 26,
2024. This event is made possible through Manna’s Exhibition Grant.
About the Curator
The Guest Curator for the 2024 Space Uptown exhibition is Savona Bailey-McClain, the
Executive Director of West Harlem Art Fund.
Eligibility & Terms
New York City-based artists and Korean Artists will be selected. Artists working in all mediums
are welcome to apply.
● Artists are responsible for shipping, installation, deinstallation, and participating in the
opening reception.
● All artwork submitted must be ready to install.
● Artists may submit up to 5 works.
● Selected artists will be notified by March 15, 2024
