"The Puerto Rican Heritage Festival Cycle", comprised of three main events featuring the history, culture, and heritage of Puerto Rico:
- Festival de El Grito de Lares.
- Festival de los Reyes Magos
- The Puerto Rican Christmas Festival "Brisas Navidenas"
El Maestro Inc. is a community organization that promotes and supports social and cultural development within the Puerto Rican, LatinAmerican, and Caribbean community residing in the South County of South Bronx. It provides a safe haven for new immigrants who often work in dangerous places and conditions, advocate for the well-being of children, youths and adults through the implementation of sports, arts, and cultural programs and events, and support the progressive agendas our community advances. It strives to improve the quality of life of people in the community through social activities such as sports, cultural and educational programs. We focus on grassroots activism as a means of strengthening our community. El Maestro, Inc. is a sports, cultural and educational oasis in the heart of the South Bronx, where all aspects of Puerto Rican culture, history and identity are nurtured, developed and made available to the wider community of New York City
