Kelly Street Garden Summer Programming ia series of free knowledge shares and workshops centered around food sovereignty, cultural preservation, story telling, medicine making, music and sustainability hosted at Kelly Street Garden. The end of the series will culminate in a harvest festival honoring the land and it's collaborators.
Sunny Vazquez's work focuses on the intersection of arts, food sovereignty, knowledge sharing, music and cultural preservation. She does this by highlighting the power of workshops, storytelling, performances and art practices to amplify collective wisdom around food, healing, sustainability and liberation. Each experience is hosted by local artists and crafted to create a vibrant dialogue between facilitator and attendee at Kelly Street Garden.
