Chamber music group di.vi.sion’s ten-year series “di.vi.sion concerts” will present two concerts at Riverdale Presbyterian Church in the Bronx featuring music by Faure, Milhaud, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, and two premieres by living composers Douglas Anderson and David Bennett Thomas. Six musicians divide to present three different instrumental combinations.
di.vi.sion’s mission is to present the largest variety of musical and cultural entertainment to the broadest cross-section of the population, at a cost that everyone can afford, and in a setting that would eliminate disenfranchisement of any audience.
