Diversity and Access to DANCE

Diversity and Access to DANCE Public Programming aims to actively involve Bronx residents of all ages in a series of public performances and cultural events throughout September to November 2024. These activities will be held in celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Puerto Rican Heritage months.

DANCE is a 501 (c) 3 collective of Puerto Rican and other ethnically diverse artists. It was founded by Gilda Rivera-Pantojas in 2001 with the mission of preserving, sharing and presenting folkloric dances of Puerto Rico, Latin America and the Caribbean. Through its performance group, Danza Fiesta and community-based programs, DANCE has entertained, inspired and educated audiences, while promoting arts inclusion and cultural equity. Our programs are affordable, accessible and of high caliber, and are open to all who wish to experience the joy of the arts, our culture and traditions.
