In this fifth annual partnership at the BronxWorks site, Pepatian's Bronx Hip-Hop Academy will offer workshops in all four disciplines of Hip-Hop (music, spoken word, dance, visual arts) which will culminate in a final showing, Spring 2016. Four teaching artists will participate, as well as a workshop on "Entrepreneurship for Teens" with local business owner, Fred Sepulveda/Bronx-based artist and educator.
Additionally, Pepatian will host BRONX ARTISTS NOW: SHOWCASES & CONVERSATION ($500BCA), a sixth annual event that assists Bronx-based artists and arts organizations by raising visibility with presenters and funders via a series of 10-12 artist showcases and moderated conversations 5-10 Bronx-based non-profit organizations and Bronx venues during the annual Association of Performing Arts Presenters/APAP conference.
