Philip Bell is a photographer and filmmaker whose aesthetic is strongly rooted in his visual arts background. He studied Computer Art before transitioning into photography and filmmaking. His first film, J'ouvert, about the often misunderstood celebration that kicks off Brooklyn's Carnival festivities, was an official selection at the Margaret Mead Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, and New Orleans Film Festival. Based out of The Bronx, Philip works as a freelancer engaged in a variety of short and long-term projects.
