Jordan Corine Cruz is an interdisciplinary, queer artist from the Bronx who primarily works with sculpture, video, and installation. Her work examines and responds to generationally inherited traumas as they relate to notions of identity, gender dynamics, and displacement within the Latinx diaspora. Cruz received her bachelor’s degree in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2015 and received her MFA from the Photography, Video and Related Media program in May of 2019.
