Heidi was born in Providence, R.I. and attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University, Medford, Ma. She was awarded a Traveling Scholarship from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston which enabled her to live and work in Venice, Italy. This close study of Baroque painting eventually led her to look closely at Asian art with its broad scope of differing temporality. Her work has been shown here, Europe and Australia where she lived for two years trying to understand aboriginal timeframes.
