David Yonghwan Lee is an American artist born to his Korean parents whose body of work currently focuses on figurative paints recreating the emotional experience of private moments and public moments based on his personal daily life. Lee earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of the Arts in London and currently is pursuing his artistic career in New York City. He was involved in numerous art shows including the online art auction website, Aucart, London law firm, Clyde & Co, contemporary art platform in Sofia, Urbanites, and New Jersey-based Korean community center, KCC. Recently, he has been participating along with a New York-based non-profit creative art organization, Korea Art Forum, and New York-New Jersey-based Korean artists group, MOIM, to advance his artistic practice.
