Born and raised in The Bronx, Ayanna Williams (also known as Ayanna The Singer) is both experimental and versatile, crafting a sound that has attracted many due to its raw and authentic essence. Inspired by the sounds of the 90s and early 2000s, Ayanna has a soulful R&B style that captures the intricacies of the past, while being exciting with its modern nuances. Her music often reminds people of Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, and Jazmine Sullivan.
Since age 11, Ayanna has been writing songs and exploring her artistic passion. In 2016, Ayanna decided to fully commit to her music career. She currently has two EPs available on streaming services: Love Box and Delicate.
Ayanna is also the creator of Uptown Melody, a performance series dedicated to highlighting Bronx Artists through live music events. In 2022 she hopes to expand her series and release new music for her growing audience.
