The popular and celebrated comics-themed program for kids returns on Tuesdays, starting July 12th @ 12"30pm and goes on until the 3rd week of August. Great for kids ages 9 to 13, we promise to up their art game as they learn basic drawing, character design, story-construction as well as develop critical thinking as we explore the mythologies of our diverse cultures, social themes and 'isms' that affect our daily lives. Taught by veteran teaching artist Ivan Velez and guest starring ground-breaking comics-industry pros. All classes are free and each kid will receive a basic art-supply kit mailed to their homes. Kids who have 100 percent attendance will also receive a COMIC CULTURE tee-shirt! Class size is limited, so register at our website ASAP.
