Hip-Hop Dance Class

Come enjoy a high-energy, open level-friendly, Hip-Hop Dance Cass with teaching artist Janice Tomlinson on Tuesday, July 2nd from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM at the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos. Participants will break a sweat while learning grooves, freestyle elements, choreography, and the history and cultural impact of Hip-Hop.
Janice Tomlinson is a Hip-Hop teaching artist, choreographer, dancer, and producer from The Bronx. She has performed internationally and collaborated with legendary Hip-Hop artists including Rokafella, Kwikstep, Robin Dunn, and more.
This workshop series welcomes teenagers between the ages of 12-18. Light refreshments will be provided. MetroCards are available based on need and upon request. To solicit a MetroCard, please email longwood@bronxarts.org.
