The Bronx Memoir Project, sponsored by the Bronx Council on the Arts, is a popular workshop series that inspires Bronxites to write about their lived experiences in The Bronx. Open to avocational and professional writers and storytellers of all ages and from all walks of life, the program has produced several unique collections of works that memorialize the feel, smell, sight, sound, and taste of The Bronx throughout time. Even during moments when we found ourselves separated and socially isolated as the COVID-19 pandemic struck in the Winter/Spring of 2020, the Bronx Memoir Project provided a space for community and togetherness. We hope you experience the same feeling of friendly company as you read the fourth volume of the Bronx Memoir Project Anthology.
