Wisdom Keepers Writing Workshop

I am a published novelist (www.DahlmaLlanosFigueroa.com) who was just awarded one of the City Artists Corporation grants for performing community service. BCA and I have had decades long collaboration and I would love to offer one of two events.

I can do one 60 minute reading of my first novel, Daughters of the Stone and include a short reading of my upcoming second book, A Woman of Endurance.

Limited to 12 participants
Am flexible with any dates between now and October 31, 2021
Am flexible with any time slot between 10:00am and 3:00pm ( however I prefer mornings)

Workshop title:
The Wisdom Keeper Workshop
There is a saying that goes like this: when a senior passes, we lose a library. This workshop is designed to tap into the life experiences of the participants who may have jewels of wisdom to pass on, or may want to simply leave behind a record of the times of their lives. The participants will get prompts to trigger memories and exercises to help them organize and write down their thoughts. Many seniors have a lot to contribute but have never been encouraged to write. This workshop is meant to honor experience and encourage seniors to share their wealth of knowledge.
