Have you ever thought you could write a movie but you have no idea how to start? This is the seminar for you. Attend VIRTUALLY on Saturday MARCH 26, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm EST. This will be a LIVE class via ZOOM.
We’ll go over topics like: What makes a good movie vs. novel? • Industry format of a screenplay – software • What makes a good character? • Conflict and Intention • What is a Logline? • 1 page synopsis • Treatments • 3 act Structure • Screenwriting books recommendations, podcasts, websites • And IF we have time whatever other topics come up!
To REGISTER please email your name and why you want to take this class to BRONXScreenwriting@gmail.com . You will receive confirmation when you register and a ZOOM INVITE the day before the seminar (on March 25th) The seminar is FREE.
Because people will probably be discussing their movie ideas, this class will NOT be recorded.
Ruth Hernandez holds an MFA from Florida State in Film. She is a Screenwriting instructor at St. John's University and script consultant. Her scripts have placed highly in professional competitions, and she has won awards and fellowships for screenwriting. She is a 2021 BRIO artist grant recipient.
