NYC DOT Art Partners (formerly “Arterventions”) invites local organizations to exhibit temporary artwork such as murals, sculptures, or interventions on NYC DOT property in collaboration with professional artists. This initiative gives organizations the opportunity to inspire their communities through public art.
Eligible partner organizations in partnership with professional artists are responsible for funding these projects and submitting proposals to display temporary public artwork on NYC DOT infrastructure for up to 11 months. We also released an updated Site Selection Guide (pdf) to support this initiative.
