The project Resistencia: Affirming Afro Puerto Rican History and Culture through the commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery in Puerto Rico and the 13th Annual BomBarBecue, seeks funding for two central events that have the primary goal of centering and celebrating Afro Puerto Rican art and culture through workshops, presentations, ceremonial rememberance and bomba celebrations.
