The CUNY Dance Initiative invites New York City choreographers and dance companies to apply for 2024-25 residencies. Integrating the dance community with the public university system, the CUNY Dance Initiative provides local artists with rehearsal and performance space, plus teaching opportunities and a stipend, on 13 CUNY campuses across the five boroughs.
NYC-based independent choreographers and professional companies working in all dance styles, from contemporary to classical, to culturally specific forms, are encouraged to apply.
