In the new musical Mystery of the Star, two teens dreaming of space related careers meet nightly to stargaze, when they notice a star getting bigger. Eventually light surrounds them, they blackout, and awaken 20 years later to find out that their future selves have given up on their dreams.
Makie Armstrong's goal is to support other artists who were in the position she was once in as a new resident in America looking to work in professional theater. Her goal is to build a bridge for Japanese artists as well as other international artists needing support to perform with artists local to NYC and The Bronx.
