Bombazo Dance Co will provide free dance, drum and sewing classes to the community at large in the Bronx, from the youth to older adults in Bomba Puertorriquena and its connection to the African Diaspora.
Bombazo Dance Co's mission is to preserve, educate and perform Bomba Puertorriquena. Puerto Ricos African Roots. Founded and directed by Puerto Rican native and master Bomba dancer , Milteri Tucker Concepcion, through our "escuelita" we preserve these traditions and are able to share with not only the Puerto Rican Community, but with all whom want to learn and share. Our performances continue to visualize and elevate these practices on local and international stages.
