Tucker is a conceptual artist and creative writer. Their work uses art as a mode of cultural activism exploring societal events and social constructions around race, gender, and identity. They also explore the relationship between humanity and our anthropomorphized relationship with technologies (think 'Black Mirror'). Their practice is process and research-based and manifests through text-based prints, photographs, video, performative pieces, sculptural installations, analog, and virtual physical labor, crafting, repetition, and other media that aims to directly engage with the body. Tucker received their BA in Philosophy and History with a concentration in English Literature from Cornell University and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania.
