Rebecca Allan is a Bronx-based visual artist whose studio overlooks the confluence of the Hudson and Harlem Rivers. Exhibiting in the United States and abroad for more than 25 years, Allan's is represented by David Richard Gallery (Santa Fe/New York).
Allan has been an artist in residence at the Hermitage Artist Retreat, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Dorland Mountain Arts Colony. An active advocate of land conservation, Allan currently serves as an advisory board member for the Kentucky Natural Lands Trust.
In 2012, Allan became a principal collaborator of The Crossroads Project: Rising Tide, a trans-disciplinary work of “performance science” addressing climate change through the perspectives of environmental science, chamber music, and visual art.
