Michelle Frick was born in 1968 in Queens, NY. She earned her MFA ('23) and BFA ('91) at Pratt Institute. Her work has been exhibited internationally in New York, Los Angeles, and Rome and featured on Governors Island. Frick received an AIM fellowship from The Bronx Museum of the Arts. She was a visiting artist at the Newark Museum. Her work was featured in Hektoen International: A Journal of Medicine and written about in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Hyperallergic.
