Jodi-Ann Nunes Francis is a Caribbean- American emerging writer and poet and is the Associate Director of the Black Studies Program, City College, CUNY. A resident of Co-op City, Northeast section of the Bronx, her writing explores themes of race, freedom, space, music and immigrants. Currently, she is working on her first poetry collection, Jali, Sing me the Crossroads.
