I am a Dominican producer, filmmaker, and educator from the Bronx, NY. And currently an Education Producer at Bronxnet TV. I create original media art, films, and educational resources. My work has been screened and exhibited in galleries, film festivals, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Bronx Documentary Center and on TV.
I produce experimental-narrative-and-documentary visual media that materializes unusual raw images, colors, sounds, texts, graphics and more mixed-media to collage the patterns and dimensions that shape the Caribbean diaspora— on screen(s).
I am passionate about developing holistic practices and traditions of media-making that are rooted in my heritage and experiences; And representing the Caribbean diaspora’s current rebirth of identity and culture through creative-educational projects, collaborations, opportunities and resources in my community.
