Joan Bradford (she/her/hers) is a choreographer, dancer, teaching artist, and arts administrator proudly born, raised, and still residing in The Bronx. Joan holds her BFA in Dance from LIU and has collaborated with Sydnie L. Mosley Dances, MizantyMoves, Alexandra Beller, Alethea Pace, and KamrDANCE. Joan has shared her choreography at venues including Symphony Space, Triskelion Arts, Hunter College, Brooklyn School of Music, Arts on Site, Socrates Sculpture Park, Hostos Center for the Arts, BAAD!, and The Knockdown Center. Joan has been in residence with Lost Dog Dance Theatre (UK) and Dancing Futures Residency by Pepatián and BAAD! Joan was a 2021-2022 Fellow with University Settlement’s Performance Project and a City Artist Corps grantee where she produced an improvisational performance on Pelham Parkway, BX. Currently, Joan is a Creative Partner, Rehearsal Director, and Production Manager with SLMDances, a Teaching Artist with The Bronx House, and Co-Chair of the Dance/NYC Junior Committee.
