"Bring the Art Outside!" This workshop will be five sessions starting at The Point in celebration of Print Day in May; this is the first Saturday in May when people from around the world unite to create prints. This will take place on May 7th it will coincide with the Bronx River Flotilla which will end at The Point where we will be making prints. Printmaking is a process where an etching press with two rollers is used to apply pressure to a flat surface with paper on the altered plate to make a reversed image on paper. The following four printmaking workshops will take place for four Sundays in June at Friends of Brook Park a community garden in my Bronx neighborhood. Everyone is invited to use my table top etching for creating prints inspired from nature and plants that surround us in our garden.
