In this workshop led by cartoonist Ivan Velez Jr., youth will use the powers and skills (drawing, writing, designing) of cartooning and manga-making to explore the global and local legends that flavor our lives and communities. We'll use the Public Domain, Urban Legends, our classic childhood fairy tales, and even the Boogieman stories and break them down and re-create them into our own unique creations.
