BronX BandA is a 9-piece jazz ensemble and Casita Maria's latest collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist Arturo O'Farrill. The ensemble originally planned to perform on the streets of the Bronx in unconventional locations, however, due to COVID-19 BronX BandA will be performing virtually for the time being.
On August 6th, the group will livestream the second of six performances on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/casitamariabx) and BronxNet TV on Optimum channel 68 and FIOS channel 2134. Compositions and performances integrate local musicians and collaborative artists, melding traditional jazz with the sounds and stories of the community. BronX BandA will continue composing and performing their original music into 2021
