Join a dialogue between friends, Kamau Ware and Nicole Taylor, that highlights the ways Black people make space to affirm themselves during troubling times. This reflective conversation titled, "Stealing Joy: Finding Resilience in Black Holiday Traditions", will cover history and recipes of the African American experience.

Kamau Ware is an artist / historian, and the principal of Kamau Studios, a visual storytelling studio based in New York City's Seaport District. Ware is also the founder of Black Gotham Experience, an immersive multimedia project founded in 2010 that reimagines the African Diaspora as one unified epic through a series of experiences including walks, talks, media, and events.
Nicole A. Taylor is a food writer based in Brooklyn, New York. She has written for Food & Wine, Esquire, and the New York Times. Nicole serves on the advisory board of EATT (Equity At The Table), a database for food-industry professionals featuring only women/gender non-conforming individuals and focusing primarily on POC and the LGBTQ community.
