Join us on Friday, June 26th for this exciting online concert by the 2017 Miami Piano Festival winning artist.
About Chantal Balestri
Praised for her “confidence and sound technique,” Italian/Swiss pianist Chantal Balestri is a versatile classical musician active worldwide. An active soloist, chamber musician, repetiteur, contemporary music performer, and orchestral pianist with an extensive career worldwide, she is performing in venues all around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Wiener Saal, and Harbin Concert Hall. For the season 2019/2020, Chantal has been invited to perform as a soloist with orchestra in Nashville with the Spring Hill Orchestra, while performing solo at the Nashville Steinway Hall. For the 250th Beethoven celebration, she has been invited to perform for the Indonesia International Piano Competition and the Escuela de Musica Victoriano Lopez in Honduras. Chantal was appointed New York President of the World Piano Teachers Association (WPTA) in January 2019 and is the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Lunigiana International Music Festival. www.chantalbalestri.com
