Dancing La Botanica, La Tierra Vive collective features a new collaboration, TO WITNESS & BE WITNESSED
Dancing La Botanica: La Tierra Vive! began in 2019 as a collective of Latina/x dance and visual artists with in-person meetings, online gatherings and performances.

On May 27, 2023, the project supports a new collaborative work featuring dance artists Beverly Lopez/REDi Dance Co in collaboration with visual artist Leenda Bonilla and dance artists Rokafella and Cynthia Paniagua.

The work - TO WITNESS & BE WITNESSED - centers on acts of witnessing as a conversation on growth occurring in solitude, and the complexities of that process. This piece honors sisterhood, community witnesses, and romantic dynamics to acknowledge their importance in feeling connected and seen.

Location: Outdoor Plaza, Bronx Music Hall (in case of rain, the production will be moved into the indoors lobby). 438 E 163rd Street BUS: BX 21, BX6 Train: 2, 5

FREE ! RSVP: Please reserve your seat by registering.
