Now in its 6th year on site, Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center's community celebration is free and open to all and will include indoor and outdoor activities onsite at Mind-Builders on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1PM – 7 PM.

This year’s Open House Street Festival will feature special performances celebrating 50 years of Hip-Hop from the organization’s Dance Ensemble and Stage Band kicked off by a Second Line parade. Interactive offerings include a talent contest where the audience will choose the winners, games for the whole family and demo classes for martial arts and Zumba© on the Festival’s Mainstage. Additionally, visitors learn about the Fall 2023-Spring 2024 season offerings and scholarships opportunities.

Youth Talent Contest winners receive cash prizes! $100, $200 and $300.
Vendors will include food, arts and crafts and community resources including free Face Painting, Double Dutch, Sno Cone, Cotton Candy & Popcorn!
