Ghana Fest-NY 2020 is the 11th annual public installation and celebration of Ghanaian culture and heritage. This year's festival will be live-streamed across the globe with performances from artists in the US and from the shores of Ghana. The line-up will include a live African Dance Workshop led by Bronx native Yawuza Alhassan and the Wuza-Wuza African Dance Ensemble. A wide range of musical expression will be on display from the likes of award-winning jazz saxophonist Mizter Okyere, rapper and songwriter Trigmatic, rapper and entertainer Edem, international cultural music and dance ensemble Big Twins, and lastly, legendary Ghanaian Hi-Life recording artist Ben Brako. Ghana has a rich musical and artistic tradition that shown its influence across the globe. All are welcome to tune into this spectacular family-friendly event.
