About Edwin Perez
Edwin Perez is a three-time Independent Music Awards nominee Salsa artist. With musical roots dating back to his childhood in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Perez has been a touring performer since his teenage years. From his founding and leading of Salsa band LA Excelencia, to his more recent work as Orquesta SCC, Perez has remained a persistent force in Salsa music. Edwin Perez currently operates as a solo act, releasing his own music that tackles social realities with the afro-Caribbean rhythms and New York influences of his style of Salsa music."
