Mottley Kitchen cafe, La Morada restaurant and AAA3A artist-run space cordially invite you to participate in a Mott Haven community project with Bronx Artist Michele Brody. Throughout August and September Ms. Brody invites resident members to partake in
a series of safe personal tea ceremonies hosted at these local public spaces to share stories of managing through COVID-19 and photos of what we were left to see of the neighborhood while sheltering in place. The focus of these tea ceremonies is to collectively heal from the trauma of the ongoing pandemic and social unrest, while collaborating with the Artist to create a publication of our memoirs and an exhibition based on participants’ photos from their home windows looking out at the distinctive vernacular architecture of Mott Haven.
Please register at https://michelebrody.eventbrite.com to sign up for a

AAA3A artist-run space @ 309 Alexander Avenue Apt. 3A, September 19 from 1:00 to 5:00pm
