From Wick to Mott Haven: The Magic Realism of Ian Charles Scott

Curated by Sarah Sandman, From Wick To Mott Haven is Scott’s first solo exhibition in the Bronx. It features 26 paintings of which magical elements are a natural part of an otherwise mundane environment, bringing to life an extended cast of characters that stretch from Ian Charles Scott’s hometown of Wick in remote Northern Scotland to his Hostos Community College studio. (Main Gallery)

5/150: Five Former Students of Ian Charles Scott

5/150 is a collective exhibition showcasing the artwork of five of Scott’s former students Lee Jacob Hilado, Vanessa Isabella, Ptah Miller Osaretin Ugiagbe, and Dennesa Usher — all of whom are now all professional artists. (Project Room)
