Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos
Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos presents Congos, Guloyas y Altares: Afro-Dominican Images, an exhibition of video footage, paintings, drawings, costumes and photographs, as well as the installation of an Afro-Dominican religious altar. The show is co-sponsored by the Bronx Council on the Arts and the Hostos Center for Arts & Culture and will be on view through May 10th. Click here for details.

The 2008 Food & Arts Festival is being held on Sunday, June 22nd, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm., and all Bronx-based Artists & Arts Groups are invited to take part in this Grand Finale of Bronx Week 2008. Exhibit and sell your work to thousands of Bronxites and visitors who will gather for the borough’s annual celebration of pride.

The First Issue of CrossBRONX, BCA’s new online literary journal, is now available. It will be published three times per year encompassing the best writing and digital art with a primary focus on Bronx writers and artists, both emerging and established writers. Click here to view the first issue. |

Submissions Sought from Bronx Arts Organizations and Artists
The Bronx Council on the Arts is seeking submissions from Bronx arts organizations and artists for new projects that have not taken place due to lack of funding or already scheduled projects for which additional funds would have a significant impact.
