The mission of the National Ghana Parade Council is to promote and celebrate the diversity and richness of Ghanaian culture, to empower individuals of Ghanaian descent to make positive contributions within their community, and to develop and maintain constructive alliances with other communities and organizations within the New York metropolitan area and beyond.
Ghana Fest-NY 2023 is the 14th annual public installation and celebration of Ghanaian culture and heritage to residents of and visitors to New York City. Held in Crotona Park on August 5, 2023, GFNY is a family-friendly showcase of Ghanaian tradition, music, cultural drumming, dance, art, food and fantastic regalia.
