The Literary Arts Fellowship and Residency Program began in 1998 providing two nine-month literary fellowships annually to literary artists who reside in the Bronx, regardless of age, and who are not enrolled as full-time students in an undergraduate or graduate program.
An award of $5,000 is given to each winner and a community service project at the Bronx Writers' Center is required. Eligible applicants must submit a representative body of work to display professional accomplishment and their commitment to a literary career. |
