Bronx Culture Trolley Saturdays
offers unique programming and runs during the daytime, complementing the long running evening First Wednesdays Bronx Culture Trolley. Hop on and off at different stops along the route to enjoy the day’s special events. Bronx Culture Trolley Saturdays is free to ride and is wheelchair accessible.

Viva Cultura!
Celebrating Puerto Rican Heritage in the Bronx visits
the 152nd Street Cultural Festival (between Jackson and Union Avenues); Pregones Theater, the Betances Community Center; and art exhibitions and artists' studios at BronxArtSpace, XL Studio, LDR Studio Gallery, and the Clocktower building.

Catch the trolley from 12:00 - 5:00pm at Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos at noon, at 450 Grand Concourse, near the 2, 4, and 5 trains at the 149 St-Grand Concourse station (718-518-6728).

Kick off Bronx Week 2010 at FAIR @ THE SQUARE
, at Westchester Square. Featuring the second arts and business ArtWalk, music by Bronx Underground, and a special visit to the Bronx River Art Center and Drew Gardens in West Farms. The first Culture Trolley Saturdays event of 2010 starts at Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos at noon, at 450 Grand Concourse, near the 2, 4, and 5 trains at the 149 St-Grand Concourse station (718-518-6728). Catch the trolley from 12:00 - 5:00pm.

The 2nd Annual Bronx Heroes comic book convention from 12:00 7:00pm brings together artists and fans of all ages, and will feature free workshops, panels, and portfolio reviews. Admission is free of charge. more...

bronxArtworks presents artist Aleathia Brown, leading an interactive art workshop in conjunction with the Impractical Hats exhibition at Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos, 450 Grand Concourse, 1:00 2:30pm. Free and open to the public.






Visit Bronx artists’ private studios, galleries, and alternative art spaces during the 4th Annual Mott Haven Open Artist Studio Tour by trolley on Saturday May 1 and on your own Sunday May 2, from 12:00 – 6:00pm. The 4th Annual features thirty locations this year, and all events are free and open to the public. Tour map will be at all participating locations during the tour.
